Your tent includes a woodburner fireplace and firewood, firelighters and matches, a gas heater, electric blankets, blankets, throws, doona and pillows, all linen and towels, a 2-burner gas cooker, all kitchen cookware, cutlery, crockery, salt and pepper, salad dressing, oil for cooking, a couple of herbs.
The bathroom has bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, flushing toilet, rainhead and handheld shower, bath salts, make-up remover pads, cotton buds.
There is a leather sofa and a coffee table that converts to a dining table for intimate dining.
Given we are located 1000m above sea level, the weather at Akuna Estate can be cooler than Sydney by up to 10C. We suggest you add in some layers, especially in winter so you can stay warm in the evenings, once the sun goes down.
You can choose to bring your own food to cook on the BBQ for dinner, or order one of our generous cook-your-own BBQ packs that includes salad and dessert. Also bring any additional drinks you might want – we provide one complimentary bottle of wine and breakfast as part of your package.
Akuna Estate is strictly adults only so that you and our other guests can fully relax and indulge. For this reason and due to the nature of the property we are unable to welcome children.
Due to the wildlife on the property, we cannot allow pets.
Yes. For those guests who don’t want to completely unplug, each of our tents has free Starlink Wifi with a QR code for quick and easy connection.
Yes. We welcome small group bookings, for the maximum numbers permitted in each tent only. We will not allow additional people to stay in the tents or on the property in their own tents.
Our tents feature large fly screen windows, providing excellent airflow that naturally cools the interior. Additionally, each tent is equipped with ceiling fans for added comfort, and a triple layered roof for extra protection from the heat. Even during the hottest summer nights, you can fully open your tent, whilst protected from bugs, creating a unique and immersive experience.

The tents are built with solid frames and have been reinforced to withstand cyclonic winds. Each of our tents have wood fireplaces and are watertight, and many of our guests love snuggling up inside by the fire during rain and storms.
No. We supply all of the firewood and firelighters for the tent and firepit. We will even have the fires set before you arrive
No. All firewood is supplied free of charge.
